29th Annual International Conference of the IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society in conjunction with the Biennial Conference of the French Society of Biological and Medical Engineering (SFGBM)
The discovery of the human genome sequence has evidenced the need for a strong collaborative effort between Bioinformatics and Medical Informatics.
INFOBIOMED and SEMANTIC MINING co-organise the current symposium, which aims to serve as a forum to present the results obtained and discuss the current hot topics in Biomedical Informatics. The event is therefore expected to attract the most relevant actors and initiatives in the European BMI scenario. In that sense, it is to be remarked that the EU-funded projects EURESIST, ACGT, LOCCANDIA and ANEURIST support the event as well.
