Health-e-Child on France 24
As part of France 24's coverage of the opening of the Large Hadron Collider the news channel prepared a report on its use of the GRID and explored contemporary uses of it in everyday life.
As part of the report entitled "An army of computers to help the Hadron collider" David Manset of GKnowledge, one of the Health-e-Child partners, was interviewed about the manner in which the project utilises the power of the Grid. He reported that “The grid is for us a sort of technological glue; we link up hospitals around Europe with this technology, in order to enable doctors to share anonymous patient data online.”
