The Science Festival was born in 2003. Its main goal was to propose a new way of diffusing scientific information in Italy, that is through an approach based on interactivity in Health-e-child, cross-cutting events and topics and a language able to spread science to the general public, children, boys and girls, experts and science fans.

After four editions, the Festival has developed, and nowadays it is one of the most successful events in the field of European scientific dissemination. Year after year, the Science Festival in Genoa has shown to be an unmissable event for schools, science fans, researchers and onlookers thanks to a language able to correlate the general public with experts from various fields and to an absolutely remarkable schedule of events.
